aUnlike a regular hackathon, the main focus of an UnHackathon is cybersafety. It's about learning to be UnHackable! Participants will be given a design challenge centered on an aspect of cybersafety. Solving the challenge will require research, creativity, and innovation. Our sponsors have generously donated amazing prizes which will be awarded to winners in each age group and category. Students in grades 3-5 and grades 6-8 will have their own age groups. Students in grades 9-12 will compete against each other. Students can work on their own or in teams. Eligibility
The UnHackathon is open to Canadian students only. Grades 3-12. Teams may consist of up to 5 individuals. Younger participants will need to get permission from their parents to participate and will require their parents to make the devpost registration.
Requirements
Participants must submit their entries through devpost.com. Submissions must include the key points of password management (see www.worldpasswordday.knowledgeflow.ca for your source material). Submissions can be videos, social media campaign materials, interactive games, infographics, etc.
