The UnHackathon is designed so that participants learn about an element of cybersafety as they teach someone else about it. For this UnHackathon, in honour of World Password Day, the design challenge is to create training material on Password Management Best Practices. To begin, participants should visit www.worldpasswordday.knowledgeflow.ca to learn as much as they can about password management. Participants must distil this material into the main key ideas that someone should know to effectively manage their passwords. Participants must then create training material of their choice. Options include: a video, an infographic, a webpage, an interactive game, a social media campaign, etc. For example: a younger participant may choose to make a poster to be shared with their grandparents whereas an older participant may choose to code an interactive game geared towards teenagers.
